Many children and adults love chocolate and chocolate desserts, but not all. And even if the chocolate tastes good, sometimes it’s nice to make a delicious dessert without chocolate.

1. Ice yogurt

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp natural yogurt
  • 2 dl cream
  • 4 tablespoons condensed milk
  • For decoration, for example, cherries and mint leaves

Manufacturing

  1. Whip the cream to a froth with an electric mixer and add the yoghurt and then the condensed milk. Stir gently with a wooden spatula to prevent the mixture from settling.
  2. Pour the mixture into a glass container with a lid and place it in the refrigerator for about two and a half hours to solidify.
  3. Serve ice yogurt in small containers and garnish the portions to your liking.

2. Oatmeal cookies

Ingredients

  • 230 g oatmeal
  • 100 g of wheat flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1.5 dl of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Manufacturing

  1. In a bowl, mix together the oatmeal, sugar, yeast, salt and cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, mix the egg, olive oil and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the contents of the two bowls and mix them well. First shape the dough into balls and then press them into flat biscuits on a baking sheet covered with baking paper.
  4. Bake the biscuits in a 180-degree oven for about 15 minutes or until they get a beautiful golden brown hue.
  5. Allow the biscuits to cool properly before serving.

3. Apple-cinnamon pie

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2.4 dl chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1.2 dl of sweetener
  • 1.2 dl low-salt butter
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 4.8 dl wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 2.6 dl sugar-free apple puree

Manufacturing

  1. Mix flour and baking powder in one container and butter and sweetener in another.
  2. Add the butter to the vanilla, egg, pecans, cinnamon, apple puree and finally the flour mixture.
  3. Mix the dough well and pour it into a greased and floured pan.
  4. Bake the pie at 175 degrees until its surface is golden brown.

4. Donuts

Ingredients

  • 300 g of wheat flour
  • 15 g of dry yeast
  • 80 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
  • 2.5 dl of water
  • ½ teaspoon of salt

Manufacturing

  1. Strain the flour into a bowl and add the sugar, salt and yeast. Make a hole in the middle of the mixture and pour in the butter and eggs. Mix well.
  2. Add water to the mixture and continue kneading the dough. When the dough is no longer sticky, lift it to stand for about an hour.
  3. Roll the dough to a thickness of about 1.5 centimeters and cut circular pieces from it with a mold or, for example, using a drinking glass. Let the pieces stand for another half hour.
  4. Fry the donuts in plenty of hot oil until they get a beautiful brown surface. Alternatively, you can bake them in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
  5. If desired, fill the donuts with, for example, jam or vanilla cream, or Garnish them with icing sugar, syrup or icing.
